Announcing MusicFEST October 2022!
/Stay tuned for the upcoming 10th annual MusicFEST at the Willow Waterhole Greenway—a free, one-day festival featuring live music, Halloween-themed activities, and great food and drink — on Saturday, October 29, beginning at 11 a.m.
We are excited to offer a line-up of professional musicians playing a wide range of styles, including R&B, blues, jazz, classic rock, and Latin salsa. They are scheduled to perform on the hour from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Some of Houston’s finest food trucks will be onsite, along with Houston’s own art cars decked out for our Halloween “Trunk or Treat.” Activities for kids and adults will include a haunted bouncy house, Halloween scenes for family photo ops, a mortals and dogs costume parade, and more. Come costumed, and bring chairs or blankets and plan to stay the day. Everyone will find something to enjoy in this naturally beautiful—and unnaturally spooky—greenspace.
MusicFEST takes place at the Schwartz Gazebo at the Willow Waterhole Greenway, 5300 Dryad Drive, behind Westbury High School. Several parking options will be available, including frequent free shuttles from the high school parking lots. The festival is produced by the Willow Waterhole Greenway Conservancy, the nonprofit, community-based steward for the Willow Waterhole Greenway, and it is funded in part by the city of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance.
