Houston Parks to Close

The Mayor has just announced that all Houston parks will close at sundown tonight - April 9th (approximately 7:30 pm). They will remain closed until Monday, with the possibility he may decide to extend closure even longer. All gates will be closed and anyone observed in the parks by law enforcement will be told to leave, citations will be given to those who do not comply. The County Judge announced yesterday that County parks would also be closed during this time period. Once parks reopen social distancing will still be mandated.
