MusicFEST

MusicFEST is the Willow Waterhole Greenway’s annual festival of music, art, and food. The fun happens at the Schwartz Gazebo area overlooking tranquil Westbury Lake and its beautiful arched bridges. This free family event showcases 20 hours of local and regional musicians and performance artists.

MusicFEST programs always include professional groups and local school bands and ensembles.

Over the previous 7 years, the diverse lineup of professional bands and solo musicians has included all musical genres—R&B, classic rock, Latin jazz, big bands, New Orleans-style brass bands, Texas blues, country, smooth jazz, salsa, urban contemporary mariachi, and reggae. MusicFEST also promotes high school bands and vocal groups, often up to 16 each year, giving budding student musicians an exciting platform for showcasing their talents. Assorted artists and entertainers—aerialists, chalk artists, stilt walkers, fire dancers, face painters, and more—also display their skills and contribute to the lively, often interactive event.

Attendees are encouraged to bring the kids and settle in with lawn chairs and blankets for a weekend of fun, venture out between performances to explore the other amenities found along the sidewalks, explore the park’s trails, and enjoy refreshments from popular food trucks and other vendors.
