Willow Waterhole Greenway
Tucked away in the southwest Houston neighborhood of Westbury just south of Meyerland is a stunning gem of nature still relatively unknown to Houstonians. Willow Waterhole Greenway is a 300-plus-acre network of lakes, prairie, marsh, islands, native plants, wildlife, and park amenities. This unusual urban setting is designed to protect against Houston’s inevitable flooding and to bring the community together for conservation, education, and recreation.

More than 8 miles of new trail will soon be constructed at the Willow Waterhole Greenway in southwest Houston. But that is just the start of what could be a wave of investment in the broader area. In addition to the trails, plans are coming together for Energy Capital Park, a project planned for a nearly 29-acre site adjacent to the greenway that could also feature a 5,000-seat outdoor live music venue called Levitt Pavilion.
